First concept art for isolation

I keep the idea of the cave art and now skyscraper will be a second key element. The contrast is quite interesting and as I lived in a city with a lot of tall buildings, research doesn’t need much time anymore.

The question which has to be answered is:

Why is the cave art undiscovered?

To answer with concept art you need some additional constraints to “stay in the track”:

  • No cave art on the floor, because movement will be weird when you have multiple axis with gravity and no gravity is also weird (the movement is actually not defined yet but I have the idea of a platformer in my head)
  • 2D characters
A person is protecting the cave
It’s haunted
This drawing is more useful to see the platformer mechanics like walking from one building to another, but I actually forgot that I’m doing this to answer to the question^^
The person is the reason(again). First in 3D and then in 2D (what is what I actually want, but I forgot (again^^))
A gap. In this one I discovered/ tried to add an additional cave and I think having them is a nice element for a lot of mechanics.
My favourite is using signs and I think it works the best as it solves the problem of having something in between the cave(s) and the skyscraper to move on with your character ( which is a cave art painted people(that’s also never mentioned but I actually think it’s nice to play them) ) and it’s answers the question.

I want to present an idea for a software which was designed by my dear friend Ren Rainier Robles and me during the class in Software Entwicklung in the faculty of Computer Science at the Freie Universität Berlin.

DIDAKTHEK is a host for curricula and other lesson materials. Our software is designed for teachers. Our functionality includes getting and giving files. We believe that our users can help to create and continuously improve them.

Our software allows teachers to reach a lot of materials, which are open to use, or even edit to suit their individual classes. The teacher can also share own materials.

Categorising the files is another useful functionality because it is a requirement to place it into the right position in existing and used framework curricula. User can use this and also the search-function while looking for new inspirations. Tags are relevant to associate topics and methods with my filename.( For example, if my lesson plan called “force” is using the method “think-pair-share” to motivate: I should assign the tag with the name of the method to the files)

We want to help improve the quality of the curricula, lesson plans, worksheets, electronic resources and even drafts for blackboards. We believe that this improve lessons and therefore improve the grades of students. The teachers have to be supported.

You can trust us! Our system is transparent and clear. If you upload the files on our website we allow every user to use it and you can use everything that’s in our database if you are a user.

But becoming a user can’t be for free and our plan is to have schools as a partner which sponsor access to their teachers, but we want also other sponsors like organizations, companies, people and all other investors who are interested in improving Education. This global mission funded by the private sector helps schools and give us the resources that we need for programming and establishing.

DIDAKTHEK is something new and we do expect “resistance to change” … in the beginning!

We are trying to achieve that the platform help reducing the very time consuming activity of creating the same things by different people again. While using existing and shared materials user can link references and invent something that is really new.

Github is used to share globally and allows to link to other user’s files, but it’s designed for software developer. Picture source
